So you know how a majority of the people on the planet read Confessions of a Pioneer Woman? Well, up until this weekend, I didn't. I first saw her site 2 or 3 years ago, but I wasn't really into reading these 'blog' things back then, and found the whole idea much too overwhelming. Besides, I didn't want to be just one more follower out of thousands...
Well, lately I've been bored silly with all of my usual blogs, so I started clicking around and found myslef back at Pioneer Woman's place. I guess I'll be a Johnny-come-lately after all. As the kids and I were looking at one particular post, we were giggling at the silly pictures of the basset hound dressed in people clothes. I'm sure you can guess where this is going?
(Don't worry...no beagles were harmed during the taking of these pictures. And she got lots of treats after we were finished with our fashion shoot...)
So I'd like to introduce the fifth member of our little family. Although Beagle Bailey joined us before we had kids, she hasn't gotten much camera time in the last five years. But who could resist taking pictures of such a pretty girl?
Don't forget your hat Bailey!
I have never been able to get all three of them in one single picture before. Ever.
Have you ever watched a dog try to walk in shoes? Or doll shoes, as the case may be? E and E and I haven't laughed so hard in a long time!

Poor thing... I am sure she loved the attention though...
Haha!! We used to dress up our dogs all the time when we were little! Our poor dog would have the "seriously?" look on her face, but she dealt with it well. I bet the kiddos had fun!!
In response to your comment on mine, we were at a place called Discovery Bay in northern california (about an hour inland from San Fran)-it was a lot of fun! Hopefully I'll get a post up soon! Ryan is back in Parker :( I'm going to go see him for a couple of days, but I'm still upset that he's missing my entire pregnancy. What can you do though? I hope I am lucky enough to feel as good as you did throughout your pregnancy!!
One of these weekends we need to go out to dinner with you guys again!
Hilarious! I had such good times with our pets when I was growing up. I miss having a dog... (and not just because dressing them up in doll clothes is funny!!!)
