Everyone was amazed and gave praise to God. They were filled with awe and said, "We have seen remarkable things today.
I have something very exciting to be thankful for today. Last night, the kids were sitting at their little table playing with play dough while Joel and I watched the Olympics. As we’re sitting there, Ethan gets a startled look on his face and says “I go poop!” I asked Ethan if he needed to change his diaper, but he says “No, I go sit on the big, giant potty.” Now, I haven’t been potty-training, per se, but occasionally ask Ethan if he wants to sit on the toilet. He’ll sit there, but he hasn’t done anything in the potty yet. So I took him into the bathroom, assuming he’d already pooped. I set him up on the potty, and he goes! Little Ethan-bean pooped on the potty last night, and it was all his idea! Elliot and I started cheering and celebrating, and he just looks at us like it’s no big deal. I totally realize that it could have just been a fluke, but I’m still very thankful, because I have seen a remarkable thing!

Fantastic! Just like a guy to be so "whatever" about it! HA!

Woo Hoo, congrats Ethan.
That's great! Maybe he'll continue going on the potty. It's a great thing to be thankful for this week!
